The Vets’ matches for 2015 have now all been played and our Hampshire team have had a great season remaining undefeated in all matches. The full results were as follows:
- 15th May – Hants v Sussex (H) at Southwick Park – Won 4½ – 2½
- 4th June – Hants v Berkshire (A) at Mapledurham – Won 4 – 3
- 11th June – Hants v Dorset (H) at Weybrook Park – Won 6 – 1
- 9th July – Hants v Somerset (H) at Romsey – Won 6 – 1
- 6th August – Hants v Wiltshire (A) at Kingsdown – Won 5½ – 1½
- 18th September – Hants v Isle of Wight (A) at Shanklin and Sandown – Halved after 9 holes when storms stopped play.
All the matches have been played in a competitive but very friendly manner, much enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to all the ladies that took part this season, we look forward to continuing our success in 2016.
