We were 2 games down before we started the match due to another golf match, and illness.  As we now halved the match, I count it as a win, since we won 4 games and lost 2. Beth played to 2 over gross, which is pretty good . Ashleigh certainly did not need all the shots she was given as she had a fantastic game, having several birdies, meaning Beth would have had to eagle to win a hole. Despite being dormy 4 down, Beth managed to make a good par after being in the rough by the tee, followed by a birdie to take the match to the 16^th. Georgina had a very close match, until the last putt of the 18h hole, when Olivia sank a 30 foot putt. Shai-Emily won with a birdie on the 17^th hole, but had a tough game having to give 5 shots. Becca, recovering from the bug which floored sister Katy,  had a slow start, but managed to remain up until the 9^th. She then lost the next 2 holes, but won the following 3 holes to win 4 up on the 15^th.

Our 2 youngest players, Brooke MacArthur who turned 11 in March, and 10 year old Hannah Hellyer were the stars of the day. Brooke was all square at one point, but managed to win 3 up. Hannah played well until the 4^th, had a bit of a wobble for a few holes, then pulled back to win 3 up. Our next match is on 10^th July V Oxfordshire at Badgemore GC.starting at 13.00
