For some returning from South Region match week on Wednesday after 4 days, playing one or 2 opens, then this comp, life has been pretty busy.
Few of the girls were happy with their game, and the CSS moved to 73 in the morning.
Most played better in the afternoon, and several will have had handicap reductions. Maddie Ripiner and Ellen Mans were prize winners for Hampshire.
The Kent pair of Sharna Dutrieux (hcp 0) England Junior national player and Nicola Smith,(hcp 5) Kent junior Captain won the overall county trophy. For both players this is their last year as juniors. Scratch Champion Sharna also set a new course record at Army with her morning round of 73, the lowest score recorded since the course was re-designed in 1974. Her 36 hole round was also a record.
