Kay Walshe becomes Acting Captain for 2017

At the Hampshire Ladies Executive committee meeting on the morning of Friday 20th January it was formally accepted that Jane Scott had stepped down from her post of County Captain. It was stressed that this decision was a personal one and did not concern either her health or her family.

Jackie Keay, the President, thanked Jane for the years of service she had given to the Hampshire Ladies Association during her time as County Junior Organiser, Vice Captain, and Captain.

It was agreed that the current Vice Captain Kay Walshe should step up to be Acting Captain for the remainder of 2017 and she will begin the process of finding a new Vice Captain from the many wonderful candidates within the county.

Kay looks forward to working with the First and Second Teams and meeting many enthusiastic golfers at events and matches during the year.
