Hampshire Seniors Match Away v Hertfordshire – Welwyn Garden City GC – Thursday 5th May

We had our first away match V Hertfordshire at Welwyn Garden City Golf Club.  Sir Nick Faldo was a member here and currently Tom Lewis is attached to the club.   The weather was kind as was our journey via the M25.  We had a lovely welcome from Hertfordshire Ladies.  The course was in excellent condition and played quite long.   I am pleased to report that Hampshire won 4.5 – 2.5.  My thanks go to Welwyn Garden City Golf Club and Hertfordshire Ladies for hosting us.  Well done to Hampshire Ladies for an excellent win away from home.
