Role of a Delegate

Each of our Affiliated Clubs nominates an HLG Club Delegate; this delegate is also the Voting Member at HLG AGMs.  Club Delegates play a vital role in ensuring your club is kept abreast of HLG news and upcoming competitions and representing your club’s views to HLG. Changing of Club Delegate

When the Delegate (Voting Member) at your club changes, you need to complete the following Form of Invitation document and send it to our Finance Director, Judy Andrews. You can either post a copy to the registered county address at the bottom of the form or email a scanned copy to

Delegates Meetings

Club Delegates’ Meetings are held biannually, in Spring & late Autumn. The last Delegates’ meeting was held on 4th October 2021. The slide pack from that meeting is shown here. Following valuable feedback from Delegates captured here, HLG has agreed a series of Actions that will be implemented over the coming months. A summary of the key points is shown here.

Have you considered registering for the R&A Women in Golf Charter which specifically aims to strengthen the focus on gender balance, to support the recruitment & retention of women, and to develop an inclusive environment for women and girls within golf.
