The golfing season may be getting quieter but it’s still a busy time for those involved with Hampshire Ladies Golf.
Last week, our County Vice Captain, Eilean Cunningham and Frances Crummay, County Secretary visited Jersey to spend time with our Channel Island representatives, which, I understand was a very successful trip.
Then this week, we have our 2nd Delegates Meeting of the year, which is being held on Thursday in the new Basingstoke GC clubhouse. This is always a popular meeting as the draws for all our inter county knockouts will be announced and no doubt available on the website soon after the meeting.
Concluding the week on Friday, is a Strategy workshop for the HLG Board and Associated Officers where planning for the next few years is discussed. So, as you can see a lot of “behind the scenes” work is going on to make sure Hampshire Ladies Golf continue to provide a full programme of events for all our golfers.
