How to grow the game
Hampshire Ladies Golf encourages all female golfers, irrespective of age or ability. A range of options are available, some national, others run by the County.
- Girls Golf Rocks - run by England Golf, this annual programme encourages beginner girls aged 5-18 to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way.
- Hampshire Future Champions Tour - we're working together with Hampshire Golf to develop future talent in the county by offering a fun introduction to the game with the Future Champions Tour. Designed for girls and boys aged 6-12, there will be a series of six events throughout the season. See more information and register here >
- Women on Par, which uses a variety of fun on course challenges to support beginners to get out onto the golf course. Instead of just focusing on counting shots, beginners also learn the basic rules and etiquette of the game.

Our final event of the 2024 Junior season was a fantastic conclusion to a brilliant year for Hampshire. It was a wet one but there was plenty to celebrate including five new faces joining for their first Hampshire Girls competition and of course our meeting winner and recipient of the Dorothy Hayward Salver, Lily Stroud.
