The Order of Merit (OoM) is a season-long competition for members of the Hampshire Ladies Golf Junior programme. There are 24 qualifying events across the season including 6 Hampshire Ladies Golf Junior events, plus 8 events before 30th June and a further 10 events after 1st July.
Points will be awarded to players that finish in the top 10 at each OoM event with 14 points awarded for a 1st place finish, 10 points for 2nd place, 8 points for 3rd place and reducing by 1 point for each place thereafter. If there is a tie by score for a place, points shall be awarded by count-back.
In order to run two divisions, points will be awarded for top 10 scratch places (forming a scratch Order of Merit) and top 10 nett places (forming a nett Order of Merit).
In 36 hole qualifying events, Order of Merit points will be calculated from the first 18 holes of the competition.

Points awarded at ALL of the following Hampshire Ladies Golf Junior events:
Points awarded from the best 3 finishes at any of following events before 30th June:
Points awarded from the best 3 finishes at any of following events after 1st July:

The top 4 ranked girls in the scratch Order of Merit as at 1st July will automatically earn a place in the team that represents Hampshire at Junior County Match Week. At the end of the year, the winner and runner up of both the scratch and nett Order of Merit divisions will be awarded prizes at the end of season prize giving.
In the event of a tie in rankings, the winner will be awarded to the player gaining the highest number of 1st places, going to 2nd, 3rd placings etc. if required.
