Foursomes Meeting 2024

 Winners of the 2024 Foursomes Meeting - Sarah Fox & Faith Hendry (North Hants Golf Club)

Summer threatened  to erupt yesterday at Romsey golf course  where 31 pairs took part in the  Foursomes Meeting.  As always Romsey course played quite tough thanks to the weather but a good day out was had by all with winners coming in from the back of the field.

As always grateful thanks to all at Romsey who made this day a good one for the players  and also to our team of brilliant referees who marshalled the field so well.

The placed results were as follows -:
5th with 36 points from Romsey were Gail Calderwood and Anne Hobbs
4th with 37 points from Worldham were Janice Hounsham and Jill Penn
3rd with  37 points (OCB) from Romsey were Julie Cole and Susan Lambert 
Runners up with an impressive 40 points from North Hants were Carol Squibb and Sara Mitchell 

And this year's winners with a brilliant 41 points also from North Hants were Sarah Fox and Faith Hendry (picture above).
